One of the most important and most dangerous things on late nights is hunger. When you hungry, you hungry – there is nothing you can do about it – you either gonna cook something, or eat like a lot of cheese and/or go out and grab a duner, kebap or whatever. On the other hand, taking into account that its freaking cold outside, rainy, wet, sticky and Tirana is still Tirana – practically unbearable to walk around due to the extremely great European grade pavements. FYI – I consider one of my greatest achievements being able to wet my nose on the outstanding pavement tiles in Myslym Shyri – Hooray for me!
Enough ranting – The Chocolate soufflé is sweet enough to sugar you up. Also we are playing this casually – all you need I tempered mugs.
You are going to need: 7 eegs, 250gr flour, 15gr of cacao, 500gr of chocolate and 50gf of butter. You can play with the amounts depending on the sweetness and the density you like.
You are gonna need to beat the 5 eggs until they reach a creamy texture – its gonna take a couple of minutes. Add the flour and afterwards the cocoa. You have to make sure that the mix texture is consistent and there are no lumps in it – so you know what to do
In a frying pan, or in a bowl warm the butter and then add the chocolate till it melts. Be careful to use really low heat so the chocolate doesn’t burn. You just need to take the egg yolks of the other two eggs and add it to the mixture.
Tip: To divide egg yolks from egg whites check the tutorial in here.
You mix both pans together – and add the mixture in the mugs or forms that you have to bake after you spray a little of non stick oil. Put them in the oven for 10 minutes so that the inside is creamy af.
It is important not to fill more than half of the containers with the mixure because it can overflow – just a little more than the half.
Now considering that its dinner time and the only important thing is to eat it im not going to bother with extensive plating and decorations but as an FYI – carefull when you turn it over to the plate – and you can use powdered sugar, fresh fruits or ice cream.
Sweets are not some of the things I know how to do, so this is a friend submitted recipe. She is one cool cat.
Bon Appetit and don’t forget to have a glass of wine with this delicious desert. Go for a simple merlot – it will help you cleanse your palette so that every bite seems like the first.
